Install & first launch (takes 30 seconds)
CleanYourMac Space is distributed directly, not through the App Store, so macOS asks you to approve it once.
- 1Drag to Applications
Open the downloaded .dmg and drag CleanYourMac onto the Applications folder.
- 2Open the app
Launch it from Applications. If macOS says it “could not verify” the app, click Done — this is expected for apps downloaded outside the App Store.
- 3Allow it once
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway, then confirm with Touch ID or your password. You never have to do this again.
